Details

The Front Door is an experimental, business-led pilot by the RIORegulatory Innovation Office to collect and address regulatory challenges. It aims to make it easier for businesses to highlight barriers, helping RIO target reforms where they are most needed and to support innovation and growth.

We areran now running a consultation and business insights exercise designed to help us understand the regulatory barriers that are holding back innovation across all science and technology sectorssectors. toThe results will inform the future design of the RIO Front Door service.

This phase willclosed runon until 19 June 2026.

Phase one was aimed at businesses and investors operating in defence technologies and robotics and closed on 20 March 2026.
