Consultation description
This consultation seeks views on the establishment of the School Support Staff Negotiating Body (SSSNB). The SSSNB will have a remit for pay, terms and conditions, training, and career progression for support staff in all state-funded schools in England.
We are consulting on:
- the definition of ‘school support staff’ for the SSSNB
- whether to include agency workers in scope in future
We are also gathering evidence on current pay and conditions arrangements for school support staff.
This consultation is aimed at helping the SSSNB achieve our Plan to Make Work Pay and Opportunity Mission.
