Details

The government has committed to protecting 30% of the UK’s land and seas by 2030 (30by30).

This guidance explains how land in England is assessed for 30by30. It helps landowners, land managers and partner organisations understand the:

  • criteria for land to contribute to England’s 30by30 target
  • process for assessing and reporting land against the target

You should use the 30by30 assessment form when completing a partner assessment. Before you complete the form, read the 30by30 on land: assessment privacy notice.
