Offering a WorkWell service
WorkWell participantsA receive person-centred,prospectus earlyand supportgrant basedapplication guidance published on their30 health-relatedNovember barriersinvited applications from Integrated Care Systems in England to employment,design suchand deliver WorkWell, as mentalone healthof issues,approximately musculoskeletal15 problems,“Vanguards” running a pilot service. Funding and othersupport healthwill issues. be offered to localities during the detailed design and set up phase in Q1 (April to June) and Q2 (July to September) 2024. WorkWell services are expected to begin service delivery from autumn 2024.
What is a WorkWell service?
TheWorkWell multi-disciplinarywill supportfocus availableon variesearly locallyintervention butand cansupport, includeoffering physiotherapy,participants mentalan healthexpert interventions,assessment workplaceof adjustmenttheir advice,health-related andbarriers employerto liaison.work Italong canwith alsoa connecttailored individualsplan to address these, and will serve as a rangepathway ofto other local supportservices services,to helpinghelp people connectget the support they need. WorkWell will also provide advice and support to financialemployers where appropriate; triage, signposting and debtreferrals advice,to housingclinical support,and smokingnon-clinical cessationsupport support,including fitness programmes andwider othercommunity localprovision, groups.for example, debt advice.
