Overview

The Environmental and Emissions Monitoring System (EEMS) is the environmental database of the UK oil and gas industry. Its primary purpose is to record measured and calculated data relating to emissions and discharges from offshore installations.

The system is maintained by OPRED (DESNZ) and is accessible to offshore oil and gas operators and OffshoreOil Energies& UKGas (OEUK).UK.

Access to EEMS is restricted to authorised users through controlled usernames and passwords.

  1. standards. Each EEMS Atmosphericreport Guidanceis Phasedefined 1as v1.0an -XML 2026document, published.and Guidancefor replaceseach there is a corresponding XML schema definition. These schema definitions will completely define the 'Atmosphericconcept Guidance',of 'Atmospherica Emissions‘valid’ Calculations'document, i.e. the rules under which any report is accepted by EEMS. The schema definitions are held in the EEMS database and 'Atmosphericare Simulationsavailable Calculations'. OGUKto all users. Over time as the definitions change to reflect amended reporting requirements, the operator community will be able to OEUK,download Linksthe updated,new oldschema documentsdefinition archived,and adjust their software accordingly.
