NHS Breast Screening Programme (NHSBSP) Guidance – Undelivered Mail

All invitations and results within the NHS breast screening programme (NHSBSP) are sent to women by letter. This guidance covers the process for recording and managing letters which are returned to the local breast screening office (BSO).

This guidance applies to all BSO’s irrespective of whether they produce letters and send letters internally or use an outsourcing mailing provider.
