Details

These directions amend the General Dental Services (GDS) and Personal Dental Services (PDS) statements of financial entitlements to:

  • introduce a funded quality improvement programme
  • support the delivery of annual appraisals through funding contributions for eligible dentists, dental therapists and dental hygienists
  • widen eligibility for discretionary payments by focusing on the provision of NHS dental services rather than inclusion on the Dental Performers List
