Key stage 2 tests: how to access results and test scripts
Information for headteachers, teachers and local authorities about accessing 2019 test results, scaled score conversion tables, marked scripts and test papers.
This guidance will be updated for 2021/22 on 29 June 2022.
Test results and scaled scores
At 7:30am on Tuesday 9 July, we will publish key stage 2 (KS2) test results in the ‘Pupil results’ section of NCA tools, alongside the scaled score conversion tables on GOV.UK.
Headteachers and teachers will be able to access their pupils’ raw scores, scaled scores and test outcomes on NCA tools.
Local authorities and multi-academy trusts will also be able to access test and teacher assessment results for their schools and academies. Schools with a key stage 3 intake will be able to download results for their incoming year 7 pupils, if they have their unique pupil numbers (UPNs).
Test scripts
Schools will be able to access their pupils’ marked test scripts in the ‘Pupil results’ section of NCA tools from 7:30am on Tuesday 9 July.
We will only return hard copies of test scripts if we were unable to mark them on screen. This will apply to modified versions of the tests, scripts where a pupil’s handwriting was not clearly visible when viewed on screen, or where schools made full transcripts.
Test materials
2019 test papers and mark schemes are available in the practice materials collection.
