Details
Internal drainage boards (IDBs) are public bodies that manage water levels in some areas where there is a special need for drainage. We call these areas internal drainage districts (IDDs).
The Environment Agency inherited the administration of 6 IDDs in Sussex. Of these 5 of the 6 IDDs have now been abolished. The remaining IDD is the River Arun. The Environment Agency will continue to act as the IDB.
This page includes information on River Arun annual governance and accountability return 2020 to 2021. We have provided a HTML equivalent to meet the accessibility regulations. This does not replicate the structure of the completed form.
