This guidance has been updated to reflect: the introduction of the Ukraine Permission Extension (UPE) scheme; lawful residence requirement for parents joined by their children under the HFU scheme; changes to processing applications from eligible minors who do not have an approved sponsor.

This guidance has been updated to reflect the changes to sponsor eligibility requirements to enable a parent or legal guardian with permission under any of the Ukraine Schemes to sponsor their child under the HFU scheme, and changes to biometric deferral process and permission to travel (PTT) letters.
