Homes for Ukraine Sponsorship Scheme: caseworker guidance

This guidance has been updated to reflect the changes to sponsor eligibility requirements to enable a parent or legal guardian with permission under any of the Ukraine Schemes to sponsor their child under the HFU scheme, and changes to biometric deferral process and permission to travel (PTT) letters.

Updated with: changes to sponsor eligibility, changes to the period of permission granted under the Homes for Ukraine (HFU) Sponsorship Scheme, closure of the Ukraine Family Scheme (UFS) to new applications on 19 February 2024, changes to general grounds for refusal, changes to processing applications from eligible minors made under the main HFU scheme, transitional arrangements for applications submitted before 3pm on 19 February 2024, changes to the Crown Dependencies section.
