A Tropical Storm Warning has been issued for Storm Bret that is forecast to reach Saint Lucia on 22 June 2023. The Government of Saint Lucia has issued instructions on times of closure for schools (all day), airports (1030h) businesses and government offices (1300h) on 22 June until further instructions given. The British High Commission in Castries will be closed to the public but is reachable by telephone.

The Saint Lucia Carnival 2023 will take place from 1 to 19 July 2023. There will be regional events across the island throughout June.
