The Forensic Science Regulator Act 2021 requires the Regulator to prepare and publish a code of practice about the carrying on of forensic science activities in England and Wales. TheVersion 2 of the code builds on theversion existing1 non-statutorywhich Codescame ofinto Practiceforce andin Conduct,October 2023, and has been presented to the UK Parliament pursuant to section 3(3)(b) of the Forensic Science Regulator Act 2021.
