Details

The Forensic Science Regulator Act 2021 requires the Regulator to prepare and publish a code of practice about the carryingperformance on of forensic science activities in England and Wales. Version 2 of the code builds on version 1 which came into force in October 2023, and has been presented to the UK Parliament pursuant to section 3(3)(b) of the Forensic Science Regulator Act 2021.

A draft code was published for consultation in February 2024.
