All babies born on or after 1 August 2017 are eligible for the hexavalent vaccine, which includes hepatitis B (HepB), for their primary immunisations.

In 2022,From July 2025, the UKroutine Healthchildhood Securityimmunisation Agencyschedule (UKHSA)changed, and children born on or after 1 July 2024 will supplyreceive Vaxelis®an inadditional additionhexavalent tovaccine Infanrixat hexa®18 months of age. The selective neonatal hepatitis B pathway for usechildren inborn theto primarywomen immunisationwith schedule.hepatitis B was also amended.
