Sections 9.2 and 16.1: Clarified and provided non-exhaustive examples of reasons for potential additional external moderation which could be more frequent than every 4 years.

Added clarification to section 9.2 (external moderation): Where an additional moderation visit takes place within the 4-year cycle, this visit will be counted as additional and should not impact the school’s 4-yearly cycle.

The date for local authorities to begin informing schools if they will receive an external moderation visit for teacher assessment has changed from Friday 10 May to Friday 17 May.
