On Tuesday 10 June, the crew of a Royal Air Force Reaper remotely piloted aircraft, itsarmed crewwith positivelyHellfire missiles, identified a known Daesh terrorist gettingriding into a carmotorcycle nearin Aleppo.the area of Sarmada, in north-western Syria. The RAFReaper’s crew carefully tracked the vehicle,terrorist andon oncehis theymotorcycle, hadand, satisfiedhaving themselveschecked that there waswere no risksigns posedof tocivilians anynearby civilians,who theymight be placed at risk, then conducted a successful engagementengagement, whichstriking destroyed the carmotorcycle and eliminatedeliminating the target.terrorist.
