Scheme completion deadline March 2025
The scheme is now closed to new applications. Ongoing projects must be completed by March 2025.
If unforeseen delays mean that your scheme will not be completed by March 2025, we will consider an extension on a case-by-case basis.
To discuss a possible extension, contact us on onstreetchargepoints@est.org.uk.
The On-Street Residential Chargepoint Scheme provides local authorities with funding to help with the costs of procurement and installation of local public electric vehicle charge points for residential use.
The scheme is closed to new applications. Ongoing projects must be completed by March 2025.
The guidance advises local authorities about:
- the support available for ongoing ORCS projects
- usage data requirements
- contacts for support
