Work and Health Programme provider guidance

Updated ICE contact email on 'Chapter 12: Participant Complaints' to contact@ice.gov.uk.

Update made to the second bullet point in paragraph 23 (chapter 13), and changes made to paragraph 17 (chapter 15), the entry for 'Claimants earnings reach £2,000' in the table in Annex A (chapter 16), and paragraph 18 (chapter 16).

New paragraphs 31 and 32 (about using Independent benefit calculators) have been added to Chapter 1: Introduction and Overview.

Changes made in Chapter 3 Acknowledging referrals, initial Participant engagement and registering a start (WHP Core). New content added: Paragraph 7 along with 'Spent and unspent convictions' paragraphs 35 to 39.

Updated Work and Health Programme, Chapter 13: Funding Model, paragraphs 42 and 43, to include 'WHP contracted provision'.

Updated Chapter 1: Introduction and Overview, Chapter 2: Participant Identification, Eligibility and Referral, Chapter 2b : Participant Identification, Eligibility and Referral – WHP Pioneer and Chapter 4: Action planning. Deleted Chapter 3b: Acknowledging referrals, initial Participant engagement and registering a start (WHP JETS) -- JETS has been completed.

Removed "to State Pension Age" from the wording of eligibility requirements for WHP Pioneer in paragraph 6 of Chapter 2b.

Paragraph 9 now refers to just "benefit" as opposed to "non-active benefit". Wording in paragraph 10 has been amended from "For Participants not in receipt of benefit" to "For potential Participants that you have identified".

DWP has changed the Work and Health Programme information including the JETS provider guidance to let you know that ESF requirements do not apply to participants who started on or after 1 November 2022. All documents and guidance that reference this change have been amended.

Published a revised version of the provider guidance. In addition to revisions, all the chapters are now annotated that ESF requirements do not apply to participants referred on or after 1 November 2022.

Removed Afghan resettlers from the list of Early Access Groups in paragraph 18 of chapter 2.

Made updates to chapters 1, 2, 3, 4, 10, 11 and 15 and added new chapters 5a, 5b, 7, 8 and 9.
