Withdraw funds from your cash account for CDS declarations
Find out how to withdraw funds from your cash account if you need a refund.
You can withdraw funds from your cash account, but you must withdraw funds to a bank account that is registered to the owner of the cash account.
Request a withdrawal
To request a withdrawal you’ll need to fill out a CDSCAW1 and return it to:

Withdrawal checks
To make sure the funds are only paid to the cash account owner, HMRC will check the:
- cash account name
- Economic Operators Registration and Identification (EORI) number
- company name
- requester
How long it takes
We aim to process all UK requests within 5 working days. Your funds will be in your bank account within 7 to 10 working days following processing.
