We attend a range of events to give advice on planting woodland, and what grants are available.

We also hold training events and webinars on specific funding schemes and areas of forestry. We encourage you to sign up in advance to ensure your place.

The Forestry Commission and partner Greenwood Community Forest will be on hand at the Midlands Machinery Show to discuss woodland creation, the benefits of woodland on your farm and the grants and incentives available.

Confor UK Policy Conference

20 November 2025 (London)

Anna Brown, Director of Forest Services at the Forestry Commission, will join Mary Creagh MP, Minister for Nature, as a speaker at Confor’s annual policy conference. The theme for this year’s event is ‘Timber in Construction: From Roadmap to Reality’ .
