New bus fare cap from 1 January 2023

From 1 January 2023, 130the bus operatorscompanies listed on this page will introduce a £2 fare cap on single tickets.

The cap will remain in place until 31 March 2023.

Bus operatorsroutes not included in the fare cap

Participation in the bus fare cap scheme is voluntary, and some bus operatorscompanies have chosen not to take part. If your local operatorcompany is not included in the listlist, of participating operators, they may have other types of ticket which are suitable for your needs.

Some types of routes are not covered by this scheme so they are not included, for example, coach services, school only services or airport services.
